Powder Dust-free Coating Production Line: Understanding of Common Problems in Correct Use of Spraying Equipment

The spraying line is very good in construction. It usually sprays the workpiece by electrostatic spraying. The main equipment of the spraying room consists of spraying chamber, electrostatic spraying equipment, spraying gun and powder recovery device. This kind of water curtain spraying room is simple and practical, and is widely used in spraying line at present.

In front of the water curtain spraying room is the water curtain board, and there is an overflow groove on the water curtain board. During the construction process, the workpiece is fed into the spraying room by a suspended conveyor chain. When the operator sprays the workpiece with a hand-held electrostatic spraying gun or a fixed rotary cup spraying gun, the dispersed over-spraying mist is attracted by the airflow and enters the spraying room. First, it meets the water curtain of the water curtain board and is washed into the tank. The rest of the paint mist is completely intercepted in the water after being purified by multi-stage water curtain spraying.

After removing the paint mist, the air flow is then treated by the gas-water separation device to remove the odor, and the purified gas is finally discharged to the outside. The paint mist captured by the water curtain pours into the filling pool along with the water flow. After pumping and filtering, the paint residue floats on the water surface. Under the action of the paint coagulant added into the pool, it condenses into loose masses, which can be centralized treated with the filling device to keep the water clean. The painting line of automotive parts can ideally finish the purpose of spraying paint on workpieces and cleaning paint mist through the function of water curtain spraying room and auxiliary equipment.

In terms of electrical explosion (fire) protection, there are also many shortcomings, such as: the level of electrical explosion (fire) does not meet the requirements of national mandatory standards, explosion (fire) facilities configuration is not complete and so on. Because these problems of motor assembly line generally do not affect the spraying quality of workpiece, they are often ignored or cut down from cost consideration. Therefore, it is more necessary to promote the supervision and mandatory requirements of relevant departments in order to eliminate potential safety hazards, improve the working environment of operators, and make exhaust gas (water) discharge up to the standard, environmental protection. The rapid development of coatings has played a positive role in reducing environmental pollution.
