Furniture wood, if wet, is the change of moisture in wood. If the furniture wood is wet, it will bring trouble to the painting and the whole manufacturing process.

1. Cause whitening of wet coatings. When wood is poorly dried, the moisture in the wood will enter the coating with the volatilization of the thinner material, resulting in whitening. Water can not release and also affect the transparency of paint.

2. Production of pinholes and bubbles. Because PU paint is easy to react with water to produce gas, when the gas escapes, it will form bubbles, which will produce pinholes when the bubbles burst, resulting in film defects.

3. Influencing the drying and curing of coatings. Because of the high moisture content of wood, the interface between coatings and wood is in a wet state, which affects the volatilization of dilute materials and the cross-linking reaction between resin and curing agent, thus affecting the drying speed and smooth curing of coatings, resulting in non-drying or incomplete drying.

Fourth, the distinct influence of color. High moisture content will affect the coloration of wood. When the moisture content of wood changes, the coating will change with the shrinkage of wood and make the color not bright.

5. Affect the adhesion of paint. With the evaporation of water, the wood with high moisture content will crack, swell and peel off the coating, resulting in poor adhesion.

Sixth, cause bacterial breeding. High water content may cause the growth of rotten fungi, fungi and chromotrophs, which may cause the decay, deterioration and damage of wood products.

7. Deformation of wood products. Because of the high moisture content, the painted wood products can still transfer water with the outside world, resulting in warping and deformation of wood products due to shrinkage, resulting in damage of coatings and wood products.
