I. Overview

There are many ways to purify organic waste gas, such as direct combustion and catalytic combustion, but it is difficult to completely burn low concentration and high air volume waste gas. The waste heat of conductor automatic vulcanization line can not be fully utilized in batch operation. Activated carbon adsorption method has its unique advantages for low concentration, high air volume or batch operation waste gas. The principle of activated carbon adsorption was applied in the waste gas purification unit, and the characteristics of similar products were improved. The device has large air handling capacity, adopts pneumatic valves, simple and safe operation and management.

II. Scope of Use

2.1. Control of spray painting, packaging, printing, machinery, chemical industry and production process to produce benzene, esters, alcohols, ketones, aldehydes, phenol gasoline and other occasions.

2.2. Organic solvent factories and workshops which are used to prepare for recovery and utilization in high air volume and low concentration waste gas working conditions or intermittent operation.

III. Device Structure and Characteristics

The device mainly includes: adsorption tank, condenser, separator, aerator, main exhaust fan and other equipment, equipped with import and export valves, carbon layer overtemperature alarm automatic cooling device and electronic control cabinet.

The purifying device can set up single tank and double tanks according to the production process, and generally set up single tank for interstitial production; two adsorption tanks can be set up for continuous production, one adsorption, one desorption, and two tanks can be used simultaneously. The air inlet and outlet of the device are equipped with manual or pneumatic valves, and the operation is simple and reliable. The two tanks can be adsorbed at the same time and analyzed at the same time regularly. The treatment air volume can be nearly doubled. For intermittent production, investment and land occupation can be reduced.

4. Working Principle

Activated carbon (granules, fibers) has many microporous and large specific surface area. Solvent vapor and volatile substances can be adsorbed on its surface by molecular gravity and capillary action, and adsorbed substances can be separated by vapor according to the boiling point of different substances. When the vapor is used as the analytical medium, the dissolved organic solvent vapor and water vapor are condensed through the condenser, then enter the separating barrel and recover the organic solvent after separation. The residual liquid is discharged after aeration treatment.
